picked up boat from shop, they had lake-tested and run the motors for an hour or so. Been looking forward to catching fish.

Launched with no trouble. Spent a couple hours fishing. Then BOTH motors quit on me.

Boy, I'm glad that my boat insurance has on-the-water towing coverage.

At least I caught a few fish.

So do I. Just had major repairs done on the fuel systems, including a cleaning of the fuel tank. Hoping that a fuel filter change will take care of it - thinking that crud from the tank might still be coming out.

I met a guy with the same issue last weekend on Lake Grapevine. He had a 30’ Cruiser with dual inboard engines. He was out on Saturday evening when the wind picked up and he lost one engine and then the other. He anchored in Twin Coves and rode out Saturday nights storms. On Sunday morning he was trying to contact his insurance about a tow across the lake. I wasn’t able to help much in a Hobie ProAnger 12.

I was thinking along the same lines of a fuel issue. I bet he had water in the fuel tank.

I hope you immediately took it to the shop that you gave your money to.

Is that a 210C? We grew up taking ours to Port O'Connor and Port Aransas. Caught tons of bull reds out of that rig and miss it like crazy!

It's a 230C. Once I get the current problem corrected I plan to hit the coast for state waters snapper etc

I got in touch with the shop that same day, so they're aware of the problem. Actually towing it to them immediately wasn't possible between family, work, etc., but will be there this week.
