I had planned to install a dedicated battery and the black box for Active target in the starboard rod box of my 05 Ranger 188vs. Can't remove the rod tube, foamed in solid. The small space under my front bow panel is foamed in other the small conduits on both sides with pre-existing wiring. Can't see the conduit from the rod box. Any thoughts on how to get the wires/cables from the bow to the starboard box?? Would appreciate any input.

I don't know exactly the difference in your 188vs versus a 519 but you may try an electrician's fish tape and work it little by little from back to console, then from console to rod box, you may have to have a second hand to help, but this is how I did it on my 2006 519 for the same reason. Your going to try and put it higher than the tubes in the rails or side of the boat. Like yours the tubes were full, and there was foam everywhere, but the top under the cap, so that is where I was able to get it thru.
