My 24volt trolling motor volt indicator flashes red. I had a weak battery and I bought 2 new ones. 24 volts to motor. Also the blue satellite light will not light up. It will work all day running the trolling motor but not spotlock. I'm 3 hours from a repair shop. Any ideas?

sounds like the gps receiver is bad. It is probably going to need a new control board.

Or the wiring in the bow area is fighting through a bad connection. It could read the proper voltage at rest, but under load/use it could be dropping voltage badly. It will test like bad battery/batteries…even with new batteries.
