Anyone use them for crappie fishing? I have an older model but am wanting to purchase another one but having problem finding any. I looked at BPS and they only showed one model. Thanks Daniel

I have quite a few Okuma spinning reels and they work great. I bought most of mines off EBay or Amazon. I have Avengers and Stinsons which are considered a step above their entry level stuff,

I've had a few Okuma spinning reels from 2500 to 4000 series and one baitcaster. I've zero issues with them and am very surprised not to see more use of them in the industry. I have a 2500 that's probably 15 years old. I just caught a 6.75lb LMB on it last year. It worked flawlessly. I use if for drop shotting and it's caught a lot more. It was pretty beat, cosmetically, up so I just replaced it with the ITX-2500H. This reel has a balanced handle and feels like a $200+ reel. I dunked the Stratus VI baitcaster last week so I tore it down to clean it. The parts are fairly generic and equal to reels costing a lot more. Obviously, I cant speak to the construction of bearings as none have broken yet.
