I have a VRBO just outside Jacksonville, very safe and room for boat but would be 30-60 min commute to lake depending on the ramp.

Holiday Inn Resort and Marina. East side of upper lake. Nice and new. Don’t bring your pet.

Lakeside getaway is reasonable and on the water in Saline with a private ramp. Not a lot of room for boat parking though if it’s crowded.

I stayed here a few weeks ago. Owner was super nice. Let us use the boat dock or park the boat under the carport and charge up.
