 Anyone ever fish Lake Havasu

I’ve read several articles about the giant red ear in this Arizona lake and may have to be out that way the middle of April. I would love to have a chance to catch one but I would only have about a day to try. Has anyone ever fished there? Does anyone know of a guide on that lake? I figure a guide would be my best chance but I’m not seeing much online.

Never have. A good friend of mine Fred aka Rionator has fished Havasu several times over the years. Once with a guide the other by renting boats there. He has caught some "Monster Redear" every time out. The fish were all in the three quarter to 3 pound range. He usually goes once a year. He loves fishing that lake.  Side Note: I hope to go with him the next time he goes!

Thanks Banker! I did finally find some guides online and will try and contact them. Looks like April is prime time for redear fishing!
