Lately when I start it the 4WD (electronic) mechanism will automatically put it in various positions, ie: high, low, auto, etc. and I have to change it back, sometimes I have to turn it off and start again. Since I rarely use 4WD, is it possible to simply remove the fuse and just disable it?

I had a 2003 Z71 that would do all crazy things , something 4wd would not work . Turn it off and back on again it work . 7000.00 miles . Last time radio was on and no sound . I took it straight to dealer and got rid of it
