Got a new charger for boat but don’t think there is
Room in bilge area for it.

Can I mount it in my under seat compartment on the carpet?

Then run my wires into bilge area to the batts?

?
Thx for thoughts

Shouldn't be an issue. Make sure charger wires are long enough to reach batteries and you probably should open seat compartment when charging for heat dissipation.

Last time I replaced mine I mounted it to the inside of the back hatch - just put bolts through from the outside and the carpet hides the tops. Mount it close to the hinge and make sure it clears when you close the hatch. When I charge I just open the compartment - much easier to see the charge state lights also.
