First time I have seen anyone do it. I would just search for a cheap replacement

Extremely difficult to repair without loss of accuracy and detail.
Agree with getting a new one.

I repaired one once (maybe 20 years ago) on an older Lowrance transducer. I don't think with today's much more complex transducers it would be possible, but maybe?

My trolling motor bracket ate my Active Target transducer cable a few weeks ago--that is about a $1000 mistake. I individually soldered each wire--there were about 12, heatshrink wrapped all 12 separately and then shielded each individually. To my surprise, it worked better than I would have guessed. It is about 90% as clear as it was before--maybe a bit more noise out away from the boat. Good enough to tide me over until I order an AT2 system.

For a cheaper transducer, I would just buy a new one.

A guy on FB is fixing LS & AT wires all the time, might be the “transducer Dr” that’s posted above.

I did my down imaging one after kinking it in the TM bracket. Not hard at all, just tedius. Followed the steps in that video posted above and used these connectors
