I would shoot it. 22 Subsonic your neighbors wont hear. If you think they might hear give them a heads up and tell them why they might hear a little "tink" if you think they are cop callers. I dont think there is a Cop or Sheriff that would cite you given the circumstances.

Tough call but to me that seems like the best thing to do. Slowly dying of dehydration is what's happening to it. It might not last another day. I am not coon fan but dont think they should suffer anymore than a cat or dog should. Shoot em Luis.

Call animal control and / or the GW.

I'm going to say if you see him again, it will be your last chance. Dehydration is going to get him pretty soon if it has not already.

He will be weaker this time. Throw a heavy blanket over him and pin it down and get to work.

Have a water bottle or something to spray on his head to lube it up so you can pull it off.

And quit baiting coons with empty peanut butter jars.

Yep... I think he will show tonight and that will be my last shot.. don't believe he will be as weak as I hope.. roflmao I like your plan up to the part where its under the blanket and I'm going to work... ain't no way I'll have a free hand to spray lube with... If I can't rip it off while he is under the blanket, it aint happening as I refuse to give the beast a chance to rip me up... wished Moto was here to help. roflmao

Should I practice on these early birds?
