I am planning an 8/12 hour offshore fishing trip for about 15 people in the Galveston/Freeport area, would also consider Port Aransas.
The trip would take place in late June, does anyone have recommendations on a boat that would accommodate a party of this size?
We would like to catch red snapper and kingfish and whatever else is biting.

Thanks

If you go to Port A, either Deep Sea Headquarters or Fisherman's Warf can fish a group that size. I have fished both and either will put ya'll on fish.

I really like Dolphindocks out of Port Aransas. They have done great for me and my wife for years. They have a great 12 hour trip on Saturday and Wednesday. The 8 hour trips are also usually very good.

Not a big head boat fan. However, if you go above 6 your choices get very limited.

I would go to. Venice and Charter 3 boats and a big house boat at Venice Marina for everyone to stay on. Probably about $1,000 a person.

I too have had good luck with Dolphin Docks.

You can rent the entire boat at Dolphin Docks. I think you have to pay for 20 or so spots to get the whole boat. Which then allows you to bring all your own food and drinks. A friend of mine does it every year and it’s always a great trip.
