We talk to a land owner of 1800 ac and he plan on building a Trout and Salmon fish hatchery on this place. They will be groweng Salmon and Trout to sale.
They have to discharge the water in to a stream and the water temperature 52 year round, just right for trout and salmon to live. The stream would approx 1 mile long.

The Question is, How would like to fish this Stream?????

I'm sure he's not letting people do it for free. Not an operation like that.

I don't see that working in Texas with the summer heat. It would be nice though.

He got 11 deep water well's that he plans to feed this stream with. water temp from well's run around 50 to 60 year around. our plans are to enject cold water in to the stream every 100 yards. This part of the stream is over 6000 ft.long.

I'm betting the ROI on this type of endeavor is problematic... not to mention the water rights fight with regulators... Seems if you are going to raise fish for consumption/sale the ROI is better with catfish or hybrid stripers as both have good feed conversion rates.

The electric bill on 11 wells will eat him alive.

the upper end is over 6000 ft for cold water fish like trout,, the lower end is over 6000 ft also and it will be for warm water fish like bass, bream and other. This stream and creek is abpot 2.4 miles long.
He has doon thing like this all over the worrd.
He also planing on havng fish hatchery for cold water fishs.

For me it all about fly fishing, we have been bless to have a snall part in what he has palns for this land.
He also has plans on building 3 or 4 ponds from 30ac up to 140ac pond for the people that like to fish with rods/reels. No gas motors on these ponds.
He got ALL HIS OWNE EQUIPMENT ON SITE TO DO THIS EVEN IS OWNE CONCRETE PLANT.

The pictures you showed of the stream just doesn't seem like a trout fishing stream type to me .

I like the Blue River in Oklahoma which is close enough to Dallas and reminds me of trout fishing streams in Oregon or Colorado.
If I don;t catch anything on the Blue, I enjoy going there just for the scenery.

If you have every be to Yellowstone National Park and fish the world renowned Madison River you can see what we are trying to do with this stream.
It not going to be like Oklahoma and Arkansas reivers.
It over 6200 feet long and we plan on putting 6 deep water holes in it to start, and enjecting the cold water from the wells in these hole.
