After watching KidKrappie catch countless crappie in the creeks on jig n bobber, I decided to give it a go and fish like I did when I was kid. Jig n Bobber has proven to be a very effective method of bank fishing for crappie and bass. I’ve caught a number of bass on the jig n bobber in neighborhood lakes. Today I landed my biggest bank fishing bass ever on a jig n bobber fished on 8# lest with light action spinning tackle. I had to walk the shoreline to follow this bass until it played out. I took a few photos and released it. I’m always amazed at the fish that can be caught on small lures and light tackle. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2023/01/full-3539-169180-b26e21a5_365f_4106_8a67_486a9b77fa66.jpeg)

Thats solid! If you got it in public water, you could file for a water body record with TPWD.
