Deadsticking on Cedar Creek was a bit tougher than recent visits on Wed and Thurs. We still had some action on both days but nearly the numbers I have bee seeing in recent days. On Wednesday I fished form 2:30-5pm and caught 30 sandies and 6 Hybrids up to 21 inches. On Thursday I went out with Dennis Christian's good friend Cliffshot and we had a much slower day but ended up with 20 fish and 4-5 hybrids. On Friday the pattern turned much better as we caught 50 sandies and over 20 hybrids up to 21 inches. The weather is forecasted to a bit colder in the next 7 days so the fishing should get better as it stays colder.

Thanks for taking my buddy DC out for some DSing! Oops I mean suspended fishing! My theory is that fish are so used to seeing DC on CC on structures. So when DC is in your boat, the fish scramble to the nearest shallower structures instead of marching to the beats under the boat. DOH Had one great day of DS in Texoma for me catching 100+ stripers when water temp was in the 40s, but now it's up in the 50s and too many smalls are following.
