Looks like during the kayak tourney on Fayette one particular angler had a truck issue. Be careful out there [Linked Image]

When I am not fishing I am thinking about fishing. And mostly what I should have done differently my last trip!

Did it float down away from the ramp or was he trying to back in on that grass slope?

Either way, that's a bad day.

That is a friend and one of our Private Water Fishing influencers named Brandon aka That Bass Fishing Dude found on Instagram. Brandon is 7 feet tall and almost always fishes from a Kayak. On his instagram you can read the story. But in conclusion, the truck slid, like a sled on a ski slope, wheels completely locked (Parking brake on and the truck in Park) into the lake.

A freak event to a really nice guy.

Yea, I think he is sticking to hunting out of a stand now and filming.

Fayette seems to be a magnet for that sort of thing. A couple of years ago, a new truck went completely under at Park Prairie ramp and had to be dredged out with a crane. There’s photos somewhere on the forum I think. Crazy, man!

Front brakes should have held it, but ya gotta be pushing the pedal for that to happen.
