I use Cabelas guide ware . Put layers on underneath . We don’t really need insulted here in Texas I don’t think .
And put a few packs of hand warmers in you pockets will help tremendously.

I’ve never been a fan of layering up. At the end of day it wears me down. Purchased a Simms Challenger insulated suit and it’s night and day to dressing in layers.

Over 70 , a thermos of coffee down, sweat pants under bibs, a hoodie under a jacket, and when the urge hits, ain't no time to be dickin around. I'm betting that's the question here.

GOD is good!

Simms will most likely be the best bet. I think by the end of a day they will all feel heavy but the simms stuff is some of the lightest.

I just ordered a set of Red Head Bone Dry Insulated Jacket and Bib's from Cabela's, for light weather fishing. I also have a set of Drake Jacket and Bib's now for colder weather.
I would like to thank everyone for their input. Good Luck on the Lake Be Safe.

Jim
