I can honestly say that recteq is a well built set up and for smoking a brisket or pork butt it’s awesome

Steaks or quick cooks my pit boss did better.

I think the camp chef seer box add will make it pretty awesome

I battled a stick smoker for most of my life. No bragging, but not only did I never poison anyone, but nearly everyone liked what came off it. They're a pain to keep just right, and I just woke up one day and said I'm tired.

So I got the little recteq and not once have I regretted it. NOT ONCE.

Not even ONCE? I bet your guests taste the difference.

I have a recteq but it is not meant for searing unless you get the bullseye. I have put a chit ton of hours on my 700 and purchased a blackstone for all my grilling. RT is hands down the best American made pellet smoker in the market. Their customer service is bar none the best in any business, the owner will call you on a Sunday to troubleshoot any issues.

Get the blackstone and kill two birds with one stone

My 340 sees 500 degrees if needed. I use a table top weber instead. Direct briquettes. Rectec has been flawless for 3 years. Why not have one at 225 and one at 700 degrees to sear? No wait...

If you use a pellet smoker it’s a requirement that you wear either daisy dukes or bedazzled jeans while cooking. I hear the pole smoker I mean pellet smoker crowd puts beans in their chili and club baby seals for fun. eeks

|I have the Recteq RT380 X. It is a Beast. I have my Master Built Electric Smoker for all my smoking needs and use the Bullseye for grilling & searing. I think 900 degrees is hot enough for any sear. |Love my Recteq!

BTW, you can also smoke on the Bullseye if you need to, it will drop down to 200 degrees.

So are you wanting pictures of said pellet smokers? You painted a pretty good picture of what you'd like to see.

I have a Camp Chef Woodwind and a Camp Chef Pro90x. On the Pro90x I have a sear box. It's perfect for putting the sear on anything.

the masterbuilt gravity series grills will go from 250 to 700 in a matter of minutes. You also have much more flexibility in fuel. Lump, briquets, wood chunks and splits can all be used. best grill I've ever owned.
