I live east of Texas, way way east. I'm from Chattanooga TN and I came across some shad plastic lures from Crazyanglertackle.com at a yard sale.
I don't think they make this style anymore and don't see them on their site, they are called SLAB COMANDER BABY SHAD. I was wondering if anyone on here knew if that style of bait was being made anywhere else to be bought? I've done pretty good with them here, even caught a few 3 to 5lb Bass with 'em. I will appreciate any info, T [Linked Image]
hanks.

There are several companies that make something similar I believe. See a couple below.

Not made by Crazyangler anymore. These were made for a short time. The flat profile was not as easy to use for most people as the full body baits. Don't know of anyone making a flat body design like these.

Profile wise, I'd look at G-Daddy Baits if I were you

Crazy Angler baits are my go to when crappie fishing, 1&3/4” size.

Try a smaller size to attract more crappie, firehouse shad is a good color here in dingy water.

If the water is really clear in Tennessee, they have some shad colors that are spot on for shad.

call Robert at Crazy Angler Tackle.. he may have some stashed somewhere and can fix you up.
Robert is a great guy and will help u out any way possible.
I recall when these baits were first introduced, there was ALOT of copycatting taking place, and the slab bandits are still in my top 3 baits arsenal. Ive caught more big crappie on the Texas Toast and the pink and white slab bandits than almost anything else. also the MELLO YELLOW in the smallest size can be deadly in the spring after the baitfish hatch takes place.
I think these baits mimic a pregnant minnow, and crappie prize them.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !
