Got to the lake to find the parking lot almost full...was not expecting that. Doesn't anyone work anymore ? de Fog was the story for the 1st half of the day....real thick, Good to fish in, but slow goin to get to your spot (that already had 5 boats on it) Met up with Tom Rom and also saw David (fishinag02) on the water. Water temp was in the mid to high 60s in most areas, and the level is about a foot low. Lots of fish biting today...FINALLY found a pod of the best Sunfish I have ever caught in the winter on this lake. Ended up with 36 bass, 4 catfish & around 35 Sunnies. All the Sunfish were caught on Gulp Alive 1" minnows in the black shad color & the bass were all caught on Ned Rigs (except the 5 or 6 accidentally caught on the Gulp Alives) The biggest bass was just under 5 pounds. This week the best bite came in the morning which is unusual for me...but now that I have located some good Sunfish I can split more time with these friends when the bass are not biting. All fish released so Tom Rom will have a better chance of accidentally snagging one in the back roflmao

We were out there on Saturday and i believe that everyone on the lake was catching bass. It didn't seem to matter what bait you threw at them.

Left around 3:00. Idled my way over to spillway around 10:00 to get started and never started motor again till 2:30 or so. Moving to another spot and motor acts up. Figured I better head in rather than get stranded. I really hated to leave them had good numbers going too lol. Will get things squared away (fuel line issue) and be back soon.
