I'm sure his attention is much needed out there. It seems to be a mecca for morons lately

The GW was on the water last weekend as well. I’m glad to see them, between the netters keeping bass/catfish and overloading small boats something needs to be done.

I’m more than happy to be boat checked, when I see em coming I get out all my stuff and have it ready by the time they pull up alongside. Fishing Worth as much as I do I usually get boat checked 4-5 times a year.

I don't understand a game warden being at a private lake.

since it is a public/private lake they have jurisdiction most likely, if he was outside the gate/property then he for sure has it.

I know leo has to be asked to do something to come on private property, or see a crime happening, don't think gw needs anyones permmission.

jmo

they have a standing invitation out here but could come on property regardless of reason if they want.

Section 12.103(a), Parks and Wildlife Code, allows Texas Game Wardens to enter on any land or water where wild game or fish are known to range or stray to enforce the game and fish laws of the state.

Enforcement of fish and games laws? Or bust balls on guys that may have a equipment/registration mistake on their boats? roflmao

I simply explained RedRangers confusion. Is there a lot of Ball Busting going on out there or just routine checks?

They said the wardens posted up at the exit gates. They ain’t there for preventing accidents if they are checking boats LEAVING the park. Lol. If they were boating around, watching/checking, I’d think otherwise. But they were at the gates.

They have been doing livewell checks at the gate since it reopened

Making sure talapia have been cleaned or have the gills cut

Have no problem ever being stopped and checked by the Possum police

I am always in favor of more enforcement than less even if the warden has an attitude. They put up with the dregs of our society on a daily basis. OP should be thankful he was there.
