Any info on Whites running in the Lake Livingston creeks? Kickapoo, Rocky, White Rock, Trinity River?

This is a picture from 2 weeks ago, 12/29/22. The river was still up and there was a log jam on the far side of the dam. It was too messy and flowing to hard for me to really try it with the fly rod.

I have been tied up, but I am going next week to start looking around.

There are virtually no sandies left in White Rock to run up a creek.

Turns out unchecked game violations such as taking undersized fish, ignoring limits and using illegal methods of take can destroy a population in about 5 years.

That hasn't been helping the population but isn't exactly true. I have been catching good numbers of white bass this year in White Rock Creek. Mostly smaller males but they are in there.
