Any of you running 2, 12 volt, 50 ah batteries on an 80 lb Ultrex? If so let me know if they last a full day of fishing.

Thanks
Randy

I run 3 50ah for my force and it is 36v and I have plenty of juice left at the end of the day.

I read a lot of battery threads, I’ve only seen 2 where guys didn’t make it the whole day. But, I look at it like this, why risk it? I’d rather have too much, than too little. Unless this is on a tiny boat, I’d go 75ah-100ah.

John crews has been running a single 36v 50aH for the past few years. If it works for him on tour I'm sure that aH would be fine for 99% of us too

Go higher. Everyone with a 36v will be fine but 24 will use more juice

The only time I recommend anything bigger than 50ah is if you're running your trolling motor on 80-100% all day constantly, fishing heavy currents or using the motor to troll for long periods (trolling for walley or striper etc..)

I've ran and test both setups in the 50ah config and the 100ah I got 2.5-3 days(full weekend with 30% still remaining) out of a single charge on the 50s and with the 100ah 4 full days with 50% left. This was with casual weekend fishing and out on local 2 day tournament with some windy days mixed in..

Glad to help ya out Im a Ionic dealer and also sell a couple other brands. Give me a call/text 210-595-0073 or shoot me a message if you have any questions.

I run 60ah and never drop past 60% capacity. Save your money.

It looks to me that anybody can buy wholesale lithium batteries and put their name on them.

I've got a Zpro 24v50 amp on my xpress and it'll run into a second day of solid fishing before dieing. I've also got 2 Battleborn 12v 50ah and they are the same. About a day and a half
