 Slow, Slow bite today but managed a few

Had a little catfish trip this morning with Sean Brown and his son ,John. Early winds were a little higher than expected and kept me off of the first spot I wanted to hit. We moved to a different area that was protected from the wind and class was in session. Sean has fished with me before , but John has never been catfishing. The bite started out extremely slow and extremely subtle.Hard for a first timer to feel what is happening on the business end of the rod. Well, after a little bit ,John got a handle on it and started whacking them. What started out as a bleak looking weather and slow bite day, turned into a great trip. They also caught a few to eat! I appreciate you guys! All fish caught on Stubby’s Cheesebait in 27 Ft today!
