How did Kingsbury ever get an NFL head coaching position in the first place? He wasn't even good at Texas Tech.

How did Kingsbury ever get an NFL head coaching position in the first place? He wasn't even good at Texas Tech. Kingsbury got hired because of Sean McVay. McVay had immediate success with the Rams, and the perception was that a young offensive genius was the new recipe for success in the NFL. Kingsbury just happened to be one of the most recognizable young college coaches with an offensive pedigree.

Lovie was fired right after the game and had to find his own ride home. I pleased me immensely that he went for the win instead of the loss.

He actually had both of them and Davis Webb, who threw for 4,295 yards and 37 TDs in the Pac 12 as a senior at Cal, all at the same time. Webb was the 87th pick in the 2017 draft. Webb and Mayfield transferred from Tech to get away from Mahomes.

No surprises, both organizations are train wrecks. I'm sure with their contracts they are both getting paid. I heard kliffy will get 30 million. I think he will survive. Worst case he has a face for tv and goes to espn for a couple years.

Kingsbury will probably end up a commissioner of the NFL one day, he's like a politician and keeps failing forward.
