Figured I'd share the location of where I popped 4 inches off my prop this weekend. No other issues and looked like it was cut nice and perfect but here are the coordinates [Linked Image]

When I am not fishing I am thinking about fishing. And mostly what I should have done differently my last trip!

I’ve slung a blade or two at WFOT where I’m sure there was no impact at the time. Just mid 70s to shaking like a locked up addict. Not saying you didn’t hit something, just saying it’s possible.

I have experienced the missing blade vibration. Slung a blade clean off a M series prop it looked like a casting failure as there was no damage to the prop other wise.

I've never heard of that. Interesting. Lookin at the prop I could believe it. Nothing wrong except that 4 inches cut clean off

Last year about this time I was running N in front of Veach where I know there are no trees. Slung about the same amount of blade as you off of a Yamaha T1. I know there was no impact because the 4-5 inches of blade was lodged in the lower unit skirt right where it meets the cowling and the machined edges were flawless. Mind you, this is a T-1 that had a little extra cup added and been blueprinted by Josh at Steve's Props. It hurt.
