I guess I did not dry off my engine cowl the last time I washed the boat and I know have hard water spots all over my black engine cowl. Can anyone recommend a good water spot remover that won’t harm the engine cowl? Black shows up everything.

Lime away worked! It removed the water spots fast. Thanks Be sure to put a coat of wax on it after. That stuff strips everything off.

What about screens - I have one screen that has some really bad water spots that normal cleaning won't remove. I even bought that Peregrine Water Dog spot remover kit (which is just some liquid soap and some type of "activator" - anyway it didn't work with a damn, just made a soapy mess on my Live. I have some Boat Bling I may try, but of course do not want to harm/scratch the glass in any way. One of the spots is in the "black' surround area so a good test spot I think to try... but lime away might be too abrasive?
