I have 9 upper teeth left . Crowns have crumbled over the years so I'm now down to (maybe) 5 that are salvageable . Dentist recommended total extraction / fitting with a denture . Knew this was coming so it wasn't a big shock . He was honest with me and let me know that my habit of cracking ice and pecans is pretty much over . roflmao

Questions are :

1) Anybody had this done ? Please describe your recovery experience .

2) Will I be able to get implants in the future if I don't like the denture ?

Had a boomer chain break and [censored] me across the mouth.
Lost all front teeth on top. Bottoms still like new.
I got all the rest removed and did the implant route. Never looked back

Nucleo Dental in Juarez...Mom went there, family friend has been going for 6 years. Mom had a bridge that went bad and had to have a new implant and crown. Family friend had all her lower teeth done with implants (cost $14000, but was quoted $35000 here in the states). You can fly in, they will pick you up at the airport, or you can stay at a hotel (Chase Suites is an old apartment complex that was bought and renovated into a newer hotel and they give a discount and the dental people pick you up there)...they take you to the dentist, take you to the pharmacy in Mexico and then you walk across the bridge back to the US where they meet you and take you to the hotel or airport. Easy Peasy.

Get the implants
