I damaged a spindle on my trailer and am looking to replace, I know it’s better to replace the whole axle but the axle is welded to the frame and the spindle welded to the torsion axle. If someone could give me a quick rundown on how those spindles attach, I’m not sure if they fit into the arm of the torsion axle of rest on the outside, if so, do I cut the from welds and the back? Let me know, I have a pro welder in the family so I trust he’ll do a good job.

With a family member being a welder sort, you guys just jack up the trailer and cut the Axle out and R&R that out and weld back and be done with it...
