Well at least we have replaced all these coal powered plants that are getting closed with alternate fuel source power plants to ensure plenty of electricity in the future! 🤔🤷ðŸ»â€â™‚ï¸ðŸ™„ Sorry, had to go there…….

Thanks all.

Thanks all. Brandy Branch and Perky are the same lake. Martin Lake is a separate lake, probably 20 or 25 miles South of Pirkey. JR

Won't be long until the lake is closed. They shut down a power plant NW of Houston and sold off all the associated equipment. Then they demo'd the entire plant. Not long after that, a developer came in and bought up all the land that the previous power company had, which included the lake. So now the lake is closed to the public (everyone). There are rumors about what the developer might do, but still no word. This was at Gibbons Creek Lake.
