I just want to say thanks to all the members and administrative staff on this forum. I really appreciate all the great content on TFF and all the nice comments and replies that I get from my reports. At the end of every year. I always think to myself time really flies by. I have been posting reports on here for years, but it seems like just yesterday. Well that being said lets talk about the fishing down here in Galveston. It has been really good for me especially right before the cold front that blew thru here last week. Its funny how the fish knew a major change in weather was coming and they decided to gorge and feed like crazy. I had four days in a row of easy limits of specks and other species mixed in. After the front it has been good to really good. I am still catching nice fish a good numbers of trout and reds. I have been in the same north end of the Galveston Bays for about 3 months. I am still using live shrimp under a popping cork. The water temp is in the low 60's where I am fishing. I like to fish about a foot or two from the bottom, seems like they are deeper right now. It is a bonus when the sun is shinning, that seems to get them feeding as bit more. I am looking forward to a great 2023 and I hope all of you have the best year possible. Until next time, see you on the water.
