I hit this little flood control pond not realizing how many nice fish were there! They hit on almost every lure I threw. It was an awesome day and great experience for my first bass video!

I enjoyed the video but the topwater lure you are calling a Whopper Plopper is not a whopper plopper. It looks like an H20 popper

It looks like an H20 popper I agree with Ken He is using the name brand as a generic term for that style of bait... Like saying your fishing a "slab" or "buzzbait". Its more like a style of lure being referenced than a particular brand. I have a lot of baits I would call "spooks" that are not Heddon Zara Spooks. Anyone cool video bud. Looks like a great time!

You guys are correct, it wasn’t an actual whopper plopper, just like all hook and loop closure are not Velcro. Velcro is a brand name. I used it as a reference that people would know and I was actively making it “plop” in the water.
