SK -- you are dedicated! I'm waiting for the temps to get back into the 50's before I start chasing fish again.

when the water temp in the centex lakes I fish hit around 46 to 48 the shad started making thier way out of deep water, and the crappie moved with them. I think there is a bit of a shad die off taking place as well, due to the amount of huge catfish im seeing roaming around following big shad schools. I used to believe that when the shad start dying off they all float to the top and the fish and birds pick them off, but im seeing that is not the case. the shad flutter up to the top portion of the water column a few times as they are dying, then they sink and fish feed heavily. ive found when this process starts taking place, alot of the schools of shad start making thier way to mouths of river and creek channels looking for slightly warmer, more oxygenated water. The crappie follow them. are you experiencing a similar situation ? . thanks!
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

WTG SK! Thanks..... SK I forgot to mention "Danali Wielding" No failures with those ole rods....LOL when the water temp in the centex lakes I fish hit around 46 to 48 the shad started making thier way out of deep water, and the crappie moved with them. The crappie follow them. are you experiencing a similar situation ? . thanks! I've stopped trying to predict where these fish will be and what they will eat.....Livescope helps a ton with just going fishing and hunting them down.... I've always advised moving and since I've gotten livescope I move even more and faster ... With the changes in water temps and water clarity I've been having to deal here lately on my lake sticking to a pre-thought plan will have that stinky cat riding home with you.... Within a few days the water temp has went from 44° to 62°...... There's no pattern to speak of in a water change like that..... Thanks CCTV.... Nice SLABS! Congrats Thanks......
