Is there any reason why fake Christmas Trees wouldn’t make good condos?

I'm sure they would, after you take all the tinsel and snow off....

I have put a few of them out over the years. Work good and outlast the real ones. One thing I do is, go through with bolt cutters and cut layers out of the tree so its not just a solid mass. Also Tie a 2 liter bottle to the top of one if your going to sink it with bricks/concrete That way it will float up off the bottom.
