I could just be naive here but if there's anybody that could make a new boat brand work out of all of the current touring pros, I think it would be Jacob Wheeler. Interested to see what they come up with.

I guess he's planning on retiring from professional bass fishing? If he steps off into this it's going to consume more time than he's probably wanting to throw at it if he wants to have the success he's used to in the tournament world.

I’m thinking this is different, than what many of you are thinking. I think it’s just a customized boat, made the way that he wants it. No way he has a hull designed.

I did some digging and it sounds to me like he is going to be working with an existing boat company that is looking to expand into the bass boat market. Sounds to me like he will be a lead consultant on the dos and donts of what people want in a bass boat. It does not sound to me like this is going to be start from scratch boat company with him as the owner. Think of it like a pro designing rods and reels for a rod and reel company except on a much bigger level. Thats just what I can gather from reading between the lines on what little information that is already out there.
