The first 5 fish limit tournament for the 2023 season is over and it was an improvement from most of the ones held since Sept 22 but the weights were light. It may have been due to the full moon, or perhaps the big warm up in December. Whatever it is we will take it.

All fish 10" and up count. Only their best five count. We are now fishing our winter hours. 8 AM to 3 PM.

1st Jack White of Farmers Branch with 3 bass for 7.77 LB with the boater lunker of 3.78 LB.
2nd Randy Bunch of Lake Fork with 4 bass for 7.70 LB. with a lunker of 2.49 LB
3rd Herb Powell of Lake Fork with 2 bass for 5.04 LB with a lunker of 3.02 LB.
4th Mike McWhorter of Lake Fork with 2 bass for 4.93 LB with a lunker of 3.39 LB
5th Robert Gayler of Lake Fork with 1 bass for 2.74 LB.


Co Anglers

1st Bill Pigg of Allen with 2 bass for 4.88 LB with the co-angler lunker of 3.99 LB. Tie
2nd Gary Gilmore of Ennis with 4 bass for 4.85 LB with a 1.72 LB lunker.
3rd Rick Wright of Rowlett with 3 fish for 4.68 LB with the co-angler lunker of 3.99 LB. Tie
4th Jimmy Bright of Frisco with 2 bass for 1.20 LB with a 0.68 LB lunker.
5th Ken Chapman of Yantis with 1 bass for 1.03 LB

32 bass were caught, and 5 anglers were skunked,
