As you can tell from my moniker, I am not a regular on this page. But, I have to give a shout out to the best striper guide on Texoma. Jay Fuller with Fuller's Guide Service. I am obsessed with chasing blue cats here in North Texas but when I first moved here years ago I went on a church fishing trip to Tawakoni. It was when Texoma was flooded out and all the guides were fishing on Tawakoni. I had the good fortune to find myself in Jay's boat on that first trip and it was an amazing day. We loaded up on hybrids and stripers and then went and filled the cooler up more with sand bass. I have my own boat and when I'm in it it is all blue cats all the time but now and then I still go striper fishing with Jay. Usually 3 or so times a year. I have lost count how many trips we have made. Not only is he a great fishing guide, he is a great guy. We talk about our kids and Oklahoma football (sore subject this year as they have lost to every Texas team they have played), we talk about hunting and cat fishing, it's like hanging out with your friend. And that's really what it's become. We have had days where the action was fast and furious and days where is was less than that. But I have never come away without a limit... ever.
