Plumber recently installed new ventless propane logs in our fireplace.
The logs light good and heat good but will not stay lit over 15 to 20 minutes.
Any ideas?

Most likely. Verify they are setup correctly and that they are ventless

We had this same issue...here's a few things I learned along the way.

1) When running, I have to have our fireplace flute wide open
2) When running, I need to have it on full blast, flame, heat, etc. It doesn't like to be run any lower
3) Keep a ceiling fan running to circulate the air through the chimney / room

Hopefully, this helps.

Sounds to me like an air flow issue. Is the media piled up too high underneath to where it could be blocking oxygen to the flame ports?

Sounds like you got screwed on installation

Get him back out there and fix your issue, he wants to install it he should be able to warranty it to work.........
