Does anyone have a 98 Nitro 640lx with a 90hp 4 stroke engine? My current engine is a 75hp Force 2 stroke. The Force weighs 205lbs and the new engine weighs 359. I am just trying to figure out if that 150lb difference is or should be a concern. The maximum hp for this boat is 90hp.

Step on the transom when the boat's in the water. You'll know quick enough.

I had a 640 with the 75 many years ago. Good solid boat. It was a 45 mph boat, but it was built like a tank. They would probably not benefit from 15 more hp vs all the added weight.
