Looking to move my front seat back a bit on my Ranger RT 178. I only recently started using the seat since I've started crappie fishing. Usually take it out when going bass fishing. There are two options I've found that look to be of quality workmanship; Attwod Swivleze and the EZ.T. Pole Perch. The EZ T looks like it might be less stressful on the pedestal base. Any opinions or feedback on either of these products ? Links provided for reference (you have to scroll down the page for EZ T to see the single post models.

I had the double seat EZ pole mount in my Triton. It wasn't bad but not as stable as several of the others. I'd sell the double seat one for $100. It's just the bracket though. No seats. Depending on how big a boy you are you might not want that one. We were both about 190 and it worked for us.

Howdy Slewfoot. Thanks for the response. I'm not sure what I'll end up doing, if anything. Would love to have the seat back about 6" just to have a little more foot room in front of me. I do not use a foot pedal on my Terrova, just the remote. The RT1178 is pretty small and I fish alone 80% of the time. With prices of boats being what they are, I don't see myself upgrading any time soon.

I had the swivel Eze before. It was a good pole for a little extra room. The only thing that was a problem is you had to pay attention to what you are doing when sitting. Stand up and bump it and it swings a little you could find yourself intending to sit and the seat not be there. As long as you pay attention it worked very well.
