I took out 3 guests that were over for the Thanksgiving holiday and we launched at Log Cabin about 730 am yesterday. Headed to the deep water off of Key Ranch and had very minimal fish showing up on graph and only caught a few white bass. Stayed their for about 45 min and then headed back south. Wow what a move it was! We located fish in 44 feet suspended at 24-28 feet and starting up the Bobo Thumper and it was on!!! We thew out the drift socks and drifted about 1/2 mile and it was non stop deadsticking action. My guess is that we caught approx 65-80 hybrids from 15-23 inches at a minimum with several times of 2 at a time. Only one was 23 inches and most were 19-21 inches. Also caught several really nice sized white bass. Using Berkley electric chicken 5 inch Live minnow with a Orange round jIg head. One of my top 5 days out on CC for Hybrids!

Great to hear its that time of the year for primed DSing at CC and a few other lakes as well i hear, where the numbers of bigs are good and a few "pesky" magnum sandies as well LOL. My logs shows its a bit earlier this year due to the unusual cold days we had. You got this method down good and annually consistent! Love it! Good job! cheers

I have not able to fish this November but hopefully soon and ready for some good DSing woohoo!

Awesome job and thanks for posting! I usually don’t start checking on palestine for winter patern until middle of December but decided go give it a look today after reading your report. It is full on dead stick season right now. Cooler full of whites, hybrids, blue cats, crappie and huge numbers of 16-19” hybrids. Surface temps here 56-58.
