Live Tech units need to be tweaked to keep your images sharp..... There's no one setting that will dial a unit in.... https://www.instagram.com/reel/ClVqxBEgEqs/?igshid=NDk5N2NlZjQ=

I agree , people get into a mindset that they can get it set like an old tv, then leave it alone, well it doesnt work that way.. learning to fine tune on the fly is the only way to get the sharpest images, and to do that u have to know what does what on your equiptment. mediocre is fine for some people so they hire someone to tweak thier units, and they roll with it.. people who say they are going to get your units dialed in and they will be all set are not being completely forthright.. teaching someone how to dial in thier own unit, every time they go out is what is needed.. sometimes we move from one end of a lake to the other and have to make adjustments to get a great image. plankton, bottom hardness , magnetic pull of the earth, lake turnover, silt stir up. an on and on all affect sonar returns.
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

WOW....I just knew there was going to be some "real smart guy" reply that I was WRONG....LOL LP you're totally right....I see that bottom hardness requires more adjusting than most other conditions....I don't care if it's a simple 2D unit it will need some adjusting.....
