I do almost all of the cooking but my wife has always been the head cook and bottle washer for our Thanksgiving meal. We are having out family Thanksgiving a day early since all cannot be present tomorrow. My wife always cooks a pecan pie for me, using my mother's recipe and whatever for everyone else.
