What a beautiful day for fishing. Was on the water at 8:30 am and heading to the one spot I had marked which produced crappie in the past. As we came up on the location, the livescope screen exploded with fish. In less than one hour we put 16 in the cooler and released that same amount to catch another time. All fish caught were over the length limit of 10” up to 14.5”.
Lake level looked to be about 3’ low and boat ramp was acceptable for loading and unloading. Water temperature was in the low 60’s, calm and clear.
Threw in a picture of my modified livescope setup. Now I can easily take my livescope with me and use on any boat as long as there is a ram mount to attach pole to.

On another note, I received an email from TP&W that rainbow trout will be released in various waterbodies in Texas this month.

overall length of this setup is about 6', but you can make any length desired. The ram is attached to a 1 1/4" PVC and the main pole is 1".

I'm did not notice any pumping. The lake level was up some from a couple weeks ago but this could be weather related.
