Got to the lake around 9am... eager to try out some new warm weather clothes (bib from bass pro) since cold weather is really not my thing. Worked good...stayed warm and dry all day. The bad news is that the lake was packed...probably won't go on a Friday again. My "secret spots" had 5 or more boats covering all my action. Fished til around 4 & headed home. Water temp was 64 degrees in most areas I fished & 76 degrees in the discharge. Only caught 14 (no bigs) with 2 of those being accidental catfish....come on springtime...

I was out there Wednesday, and no one was in the Oak Thicket lot when we launched. Saw one trailer in the Park Prairie lot and maybe two other boats all day. Caught most of our fish shallow and it was good once you found a "nest" of them. The deep bite was not very good. Never got out of my cold weather gear. February in November.
