Just curious ?? Any idea what kind of fish that is on the Forum cover photo ? And where it was caught ? The landscape in the background does not look familiar at all ...

I took a look at the photo, and I know the photographer. Andrew fishes Alaska quite a bit. The summer of 2010, I met Andrew at a lodge where I was working. I think I recognize the guy holding the fish, too… Maybe a guy named Will…?
The fish is a lake trout, which IS in the char family. They both put on beautiful spawning colors in the cooler months. I was really fortunate to catch Arctic char and lake trout when I was there, not to mention a 27” rainbow trout.
I’ll see if I can send a PM to Andrew to confirm.
