Was thinking about grabbing a reservation, but having never been and living in Lewisville, I wanted to get input on if it was worth it? Also if it is worth the trip/time… if someone wouldn’t mind sending me a private message with some useful tips, things to look out for, any help on making it worth it. . I would greatly appreciate it.

Just go fishing. It's a small lake that is full of mostly small fish with an occasional 5 lb fish. Rocks, bushes, points wherever. A worm, a square bill, doesn't really matter.

Fun lake. Like was said earlier, just go fishing. You will catch plenty of fish how ever you want to fish it.

The lake is very dependent on temperature. Although some fish are found throughout the lake, the majority of fish are found in just a few areas. If you are not catching fish then move. Most of the fish are all the way up in the creeks as far as you can go when the lake temperature is high.
