Had a bunch of late green tomatoes over the last couple of weeks, and decided to try and make some green hot sauce.
Boiled them to were I could peel the skins off. Cut up some jalapenos,onions,cilantros, and garlic. Sautei them in a pan with butter and a little olive oil. Mix all together in a blender , Use Mason jars and leave room for a little apple cider vinegar and water , I boiled them in a pot of water till the lids pop.
On a side note I kept the big ones, and put them in a box and put a couple of bannanas in it to help them ripen - it works !

I need to pick mine. about about 13-15 big pretty green ones on the vine finally after watering it all summer. Then cold front hits and my plants are toast.

Fried green tomatoes it is for dinner.
