It's coming down here too.

I am at a training event today, and the sound of the rain pounding the roof was enough for us to postpone a session. We couldn't hear the presenter over the din.

If it were like sex then it would come in like a tornado without warning and only last 7 minutes.

Well, I don't know about all this... I think y'all might need to get... anyway...

I have been watching the lake level here creep and I mean creeeeeeep up slowly. But every day it goes up is a day it doesn't go down. As of 4:00 am this morning, Lavon is at 486.72 which is 5.28 feet below pool. That is up a foot and a half from the low water mark of 485.22 in October. More rain in the forecast Monday, 80% chance. We'll take every drop we can get. Ken, do you have water under your dock yet?

CC is showing -4.85 this morning. Really has not moved much lately. That big storm back in August put several inches in, but lost it, and last few rains are just soaking in. Lake level not moving much at all.

Still waiting for that "busy tropical storm season" they promised. LOL

Hope everyone is ready to catch some fish, as the water temps should really be dropping!

Did kill some ducks yesterday down at Granbury, so not all bad.

Well, I am glad somewhere in Texas is getting rain. We just have lots of wind and cold lol.

Ken, I think the ground has soaked up what it wants for now. I see Lavon coming up when we get rain now, not like in October when it didn't move with the rain we did get. Shannon, that's a lot. We were down about that much before it started coming back up. We are still down 5.28 as of this morning but that has gained a foot and a half in the last few weeks. Rowdy, where are you that you are not getting any rain? Seems like the coverage has been pretty good of late. Unless you are under an airplane wing at DFW.

It's worse than an airplane wing lol... I live out in the Lubbock area of west Texas. Better known as the desert... We use to get lots of rain in the fall out this way. Usually to much rain, but any body with any sense doesn't say anything about to much rain, even back then. Rain is a gift from God, we don't gritch about that ever.

I just looked at the radar and you guys in the east are getting some right now. It's just cold and windy here, it's supposed to be like this all week here. I am going to have to tie on my boat and just go to the lake regardless now that most of the list of honey do's are at a dull roar right now.

Not real keen on taking my old technology 2-stroke out when it's less than 40 degrees outside, that oil is hard to pump from the tank being that cold lol, but I usually dump some oil in the fuel to just be sure it's got oil and go anyway. I have a new Gloomis rod I got a week ago that needs to see the lake lol.

You guys with the 4-stroke technology is setup much better for the cold, least your motor is lol. My fingers getting cold is the next issue I have to deal with, fingers, feet and ears lol... But I think things are getting where it might slack up on me around here and I am going to the lake, cold, wind and all.
