Asp caterpillar… southern flannel moth. I’ve gotten stung in the past… I put my hand on the railing and didn’t see him.
These little buggers are the reason why all Texans are scared of fuzzy caterpillars.

More than a big red wasp. Less than a cow killer. Best description I can give is imagine getting stung by 6 really angry bees with the full dose of venom. But the pain is sharper and hotter.

They must die then. Eh? Why? They don’t move around that much and they’re really cool looking. Just look before you grab or lean or sit. They’re not after you. It takes less than a second to check.
