Do ceramic bearings on a bait casting reel need to be oiled? I am not real good on reel maintenance and was thinking about having the factory bearings swapped out for ceramic bearings on some of my older freshwater bait casting reels to make them "maintenance free" since I already treat them that way.

Quality ones can be run dry but would still need periodic cleaning, also bearings aren't the only parts of a reel that need to be cleaned or lubed so you're still not going to be maintenance free.
